Just set your alarm! :)

This summer, artists and art lovers are meeting once a week to talk about art in Milwaukee. Everyone is invited: artists of all disciplines, also patrons, donors, board members, arts educators and even critics. Anyone who cares about art in Milwaukee.

This week's discussion topic: ARTISTIC VISION and THE ROLE OF THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Date: August 14, 2009
Time: 8:00am - 9:30am

BYOB: Bring your own breakfast (or eat the donuts Jonathan West said he'd be bringing...)

NEW LOCATION! Colin Cabot and the staff of the Skylight have graciously opened their doors and invited us to hold this week's meeting in the Broadway Theatre Center Bar/Bistro! As an added bonus, there will be a guided tour of the Broaday Theatre Center immediately following the meeting. All are welcome to stay for the tour.

Ok, seriously guys. Just come. It's not scary. Really. They WANT us to be there. And I know we WANT to be there. So don't make me go alone. If you'd like to walk in with someone you know, Patrick and I are meeting at the Starbucks around the corner around 7:40. Plus, the tour of the building after- SO COOL, right? For those of us who spent our summers in the building, it will be a great time to share stories and be all nostalgic. You can sleep in on Saturday.
